HR Concepts LLC was created to support small business owners who want clarity and confidence around their people practices — without the complexity or cost of a full-time HR hire.
After more than 15 years working inside highly regulated, mission-driven organizations, I saw the same pattern repeat: people and compliance issues rarely start as emergencies. They start as small gaps — unclear processes, misaligned expectations, or overlooked risk — that compound over time.
HR Concepts exists to help leaders identify and address those issues early, calmly, and strategically.
About the Founder
I’m Lindsay Duffy, an HR and people operations professional with over 15 years of experience supporting organizations across public sector, healthcare, nonprofit, manufacturing, and highly regulated environments. I hold an MBA with a concentration in Human Resources Management and have spent my career working at the intersection of people, compliance, and operational risk.
My approach is grounded in discretion, clarity, and practical experience. I work best with leaders who want to address issues early, think strategically about their people decisions, and avoid reactive or fear-driven HR.
